Have you ever wondered why players like Leon Balogun and a few others from the Super Eagles and even some from the Super Falcons suddenly stopped getting national team call-ups?
These are players who had the courage to speak out publicly against the NFF, demanding that their long-overdue match bonuses and allowances be paid.
Instead of addressing these legitimate grievances, the NFF reportedly retaliated by blacklisting them, instructing coaches, directly or indirectly, not to invite those players again. that’s the sad reality of how the system operates.
The pattern is clear: any player who dares to question or criticize the federation risks being silenced, either through intimidation or exclusion from the squad.
The NFF would rather punish players for speaking the truth than fix the r0t within the system.
