Honoured & Grateful.
I’m truly humbled to be named one of the 33 Icons of Today and Tomorrow by OLISE Magazine. This recognition means so much, because my journey as a British-Nigerian woman, mother and artist is at the core of everything I create.
My work celebrates the beauty, power and complexity of Black identity, a response to years of navigating spaces where we weren’t always seen or celebrated. In 2025, Black skin is still met with discomfort, and my mission is to help shift that narrative by making Black faces visible, valued and unmissable in every space.
Thank you, OLISE Magazine, for seeing the intention behind my work, and thank you to everyone who continues to support this journey. Here’s to more colour, more truth and more representation.
