A Nigerian woman identified as Hauwa Mundi has stirred controversy on social media after advising women to go after their friends’ partners if those friends fail to appreciate them.
In a Facebook post shared on Thursday, Mundi boldly encouraged ladies to “collect” any good man who is being taken for granted by his partner, claiming that loyalty among women should not stand in the way of opportunity.
Dear ladies, if you have a friend who has a good man but does not appreciate him or takes advantage of his kind nature, collect him from her!” she wrote. “If he refuses to be collected, it means his head no correct—allow him to continue collecting wotowoto. There’s no such thing as a sis code here.”
Mundi went further to offer what she called “tips” for taking over a friend’s man, saying interested ladies could send her a direct message for advice—provided they had proof that their friend was “tripping.”
Her post quickly went viral, drawing sharp criticism from social media users who condemned the statement as “shameless” and “morally bankrupt.” Others, however, reacted humorously, calling it “relationship banter taken too far.”
As the post continues to circulate, many Nigerians have used the incident to reignite discussions about trust, boundaries, and the erosion of values in modern relationships.
